Scott Schlinsog, age 61, of Granton, WI passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Scott was born on April 2, 1960 to Steve and Carol Schlinsog. He attended Granton High School. In 1990 Scott met the love of his life, Margaret and they wed in 1991. One of his first jobs was in Illinois on a farm working on silos. After Scott and Margaret were married they farmed where Scott enjoyed working with the animals. After selling the farm Scott and Margaret built a log cabin. At one time he grew and sold produce. He loved the springtime when it was time to collect sap and make maple syrup. Scott was well known for tearing down old barns with his hired men and selling the reclaimed lumber. He will be truly missed by his right-hand man. In recent years, Scott started buying old John Deere tractors and restoring them back to life. He also enjoyed online auctions and buying such things as crocks, old tractor seats and other things he found. Scott could tell stories like no one else. He was always the one lightening the mood and enjoyed getting people to laugh. You could talk to Scott and lose track of time.
Scott loved his wife and his family very much. He will be truly missed by his family, many friends and his pets, Mr. Nibs and Teddy.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret, daughter, Becky (Mel) Coleman, grandsons, Levi and Tanner, a son, James (Lindsey) Strey, granddaughter, Maelee, a son, Scott Jr. (Daniela) Schlinsog, grandchildren, Scott III, Marisol, Fernanda, Axel, and Ruth, a son, Samuel (Rene) Schlinsog and grandson, Myron, a daughter, Linda (Ray) Reiff and granddaughter, Sarah Beth, and a daughter, Andrea (Adam) Knapp and grandchildren, Hannah and Harisen.
