Obituary for Sharon Breu

Sharon R. Breu, 59, Marshfield, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Auburndale with Rev. Murali Anand Rayappan officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Robert Plath, Michael Malyuk, Nathan Plath, Bradley Messmann, Collin Messmann, and Caedyn Messmann. Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, November 4 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield and from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at the church.

Sharon was born on March 14, 1963 in Marshfield to James and Adleen (Seubert) Breu. She graduated from Auburndale High School in 1981.

Sharon enjoyed going to garage sales, traveling with her parents, drinking Diet Pepsi, caring for her cats, collecting monkeys and purses, and listening to Alan Jackson and country music. It was also mandatory to watch The Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal every day. She attended Fan Fair in Nashville where she met The Oak Ridge Boys. Sharon was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Eagles Club.

She is survived by her mother, Adleen Breu, sisters, Vickie (Robert) Plath of Marshfield and Jayne (Michael) Malyuk of Mellen, niece, Ashley (Bradley) Messmann of Marshfield, nephew, Nathan Plath of Marshfield, and 2 special great nephews, Collin and Caedyn Messmann.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Breu, brother, Dennis Breu, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Marshfield Medical Center on the 8th floor, Safe Haven Senior Care, her special niece Ashley who became her caretaker, as well as all the family and friends that came to show their support and care.
