Sharon D. Schubert

Age 65, of Marshfield, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the home of her daughter after having succumbed to lung cancer. She was surrounded by her family and being tenderly cared for by Heartland Hospice.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Dr. Laurie Brubaker-Davis officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until time of services.

Sharon was born on March 16, 1956 in Marshfield; the daughter of Frank and Carol (Lingford) Woehrle. She attended Marshfield Senior High School  before attending Mid-State Technical College to become a phlebotomist. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital before moving to Milwaukee, where she worked at Community Memorial Hospital. She later completed coursework and received her certification for nursing assistant. She mostly recently worked as a CNA at Linden Grove in Waukesha and Castle Senior Living of Birchrock in Mukwonego.

She had many hobbies and loved to work in her garden; listen to talk radio and shovel snow in the winter. She loved animals, her cats especially: Wheezer, Lily, and Miss Kitty, (Gomez, Grandma, Snickers, Sampson and Kayla who greeted her at the gates of heaven). She enjoyed watching her favorite show: Pit Bulls and Parolees. Providing help and care for her family and friends was what she specialized in; she would help anyone at the drop of a hat. Personal friendships were very important to her and she had many dear friends who described her as kind, caring, loving and a good and hard worker.

Sharon will be missed dearly by her son, Shawn Schubert of Junction City (Jacki Jones), and her daughter, Sheila (Paul) Miller of Marshfield; her grandchildren, Dylan, Courtney, Jordan, Olivia, Madison, Paris, Phoenix and London; her father, Frank Woehrle of Marshfield and her siblings, Debra, Ronald, Charles, Gene and Barbara along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Woehrle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sharon’s name can be directed to a local humane society or to Pit Bulls and Parolees.

Sharon’s arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer. Please visit www.lifetributesfuneralhome.com to share thoughts and condolences.
