Tessie Klochs’ love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Tessie passed away on June 10, 2022 at the age of 88 after a courageous battle following a dramatic health decline from a GI bleed and surrounded by all of her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Tessie attended Lourdes High School in Chicago, Il. She married John Kloch on September 18th, 1954. She was employed for Motorola in Schaumburg, IL for 10 years prior to being deemed disabled following an aortic aneurysm.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Tessie. She loved to spend time with her family, camping, working on creating beautiful lamp work jewelry, numerous art/craft interests and craft shows, and spending quiet evenings with her husband, John. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and kept a smile throughout her illness. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Tessie is survived by daughters, Susan (Doug) Wendlandt and Denise (Randy) Feirer and grandchildren, Charlie (Jill) Wendlandt, Scott (Allie) Wendlandt and Katie (Alex Radtke) Wendlandt and great-grandchildren, Millie and John.
Thank you to those who provided Mom with amazing care at The House of the Dove and to Mom’s friends who called 911 and saved her life.
Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Church in Marshfield with visitation one hour prior to the service. There will be a Celebration of Life at Wildwood Regency Apartments following the funeral service.
