Obituary for Thomas Kliner

Thomas J. Kliner, 70, Marshfield, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at 10:00 am on Monday, May 20 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

Tom was born on December 23, 1953 in Madison to Paul and Marcella (Fehrenbach) Kliner. He graduated from Boylan Catholic High School in Rockford, Illinois in 1972. He was united in marriage to Wanita Raczykowski on April 23, 1983 in Colby, Wisconsin.

Tom worked in the shipping department at Weyerhauser/Masonite for over 40 years. He enjoyed art, painting and collecting, trading, and selling antiques. He also liked 1950-1990s music, reading (Steven King), traveling, going to festivals, theater/plays, fishing, watching horror movies, the History Channel, and classic TV shows.

He is survived by his wife, Wanita, children, Timothy M. Kliner of Marshfield, Jeffrey T. Kliner of Thomasville, NC, Julie A. Kliner of Hartford, and Brandon S. Kliner of Austin, TX, and granddaughter, Kinley M. Kliner. He is further survived by his mother, Marcella Kliner, and brothers, Gregory (Tayanna) Kliner of Baraboo and Richard (Sue) Kliner of Denver, CO.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul J. Kliner.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Marshfield Medical Center 5 North and palliative care, House of Dove, and all the family and friends that came to visit.
