Victoria “Vicki” S. Anderson, 76, Auburndale, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Auburndale. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A gathering for family and friends will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, and from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. St. Mary’s Parish Council of Catholic Women will recite the rosary at 7:30 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Victoria was born on July 4, 1946, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to Adrian “Whitey” and Hilda (Mathison) Cavadini. She was a 1964 graduate of Bangor High School and a 1965 graduate of Winona Secretarial School. She was united in marriage to Timothy J. Anderson on March 12, 1966, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, La Crosse.
Vicki was first a medical secretary at Gundersen Clinic in La Crosse. Next, she did in-home childcare. Last, she drove school bus for Kieffer Bus Service in Auburndale for 40 years.
In Vicki’s spare time, she enjoyed reading, puzzles, shopping, casino trips, competitive board/word games, and playing cards. She especially enjoyed supporting Auburndale’s teams and attending her kids’ and grandkids’ events. Vicki was always their biggest fan.
We as her family will never forget her making holidays special, her wonderful meals, and her fun-loving personality. Vicki was a special lady who was humble, kind, and had a tremendous heart. We will all remember her as the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. We will miss her dearly.
Vicki is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tim and their children, Scott (Amy) Anderson of Stevens Point, Jay (Joren) Anderson of Auburndale, Jill (Jason) Morrow of River Falls, and Kelly (Travis) Kornowski of Plover. She is also survived by grandchildren, Haley, Trevor and Ava Anderson, Julian, Marti and Eve Anderson, Tyler (Kaia), Jami, and Cody (Payton) Morrow and their child Marley, and Katie and Sam Kornowski. She is further survived by siblings, Gloria (Tom) Hundt, Dan Cavadini, all of La Crosse, and Sharon Kirchner of Sparta and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter Grace Kornowski.
