Bill was a strong and courageous man serving in the Army and retiring as Captain. He was a leader and continued doing so in the American Legion locally.
He assembled a book on his sausage making recipes and sold or distributed over 4000 copies. He was proud of his making meats and renowned summer sausage.
He was definitely a leader and confident in many, many ways. His wife and loving mother of their children, Dorene of 69 years will sorely miss him on a daily basis.
Many, many achievements were completed under his care and command in and out of the service.
