William A. Guldan, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Serenity Living, Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until service time. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home following the service by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6352 of Stratford.

William was born on April 7, 1929, in Rozellville, to George and Pauline (Schalk) Guldan, where he attended St. Andrew’s Parochial School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1953.

He married Annette M. Solinsky on August 29, 1953, in Marshfield. She died on December 6, 2004. After their marriage, Bill and Annette farmed at “Interlocken Farm” in Hazelhurst for five years. In 1957 they moved to the Town of McMillan where he farmed at “Golden Acres” until his retirement.

Bill and Annette loved spending time with family at the cottage in Hazelhurst and taking trips. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, and camping.

He is survived by three children and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His children are a daughter, Marcy (Keith) Bauer of Marshfield, and their children, Travis (Terri) Bauer and their children Hunter and Gauge, and Jodie (Casey) DeBasuche and their children Connor and Colton; a son, Bill (Lori) Guldan of Montana and their daughter, Jessica Guldan; a son Kenneth Guldan of Lindsey and his children, Chris (Amber) Guldan and their children, Mason and Brayden and Stacy Guldan and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers and their spouses, Anthony Guldan, George (Carol) Guldan, LeRoy (Lorraine) Guldan, and Alfred (Grace) Guldan and sisters and their spouses, Fern (Ted) Weber, Helen (Charles) Kieffer and Catherine (Don) Brown.
