MERRILL, WI (OnFocus) – One person is dead after a gun was accidentally discharged in Merrill on Tuesday. According to reports, the incident occurred at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday and authorities rushed the victim to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting but the incident is still under investigation. According to the Merrill Police Department, names of those involved and other details may be released at a later date when it is deemed appropriate.
