OnFocus Athlete of the Week, September 19 – September 25

  • Jack Klatt, Wisconsin Rapids Assumption -Jack Klatt ran for a 13 yard touchdown and threw three touchdown passes for the Royals in their 39-0 shutout of Pittsville. Klatt had touchdown passes of 38 and 12 yards to Ryan Shaw, and completed a 21 yard toss to Cade Statz.
  • Riley Pechinski, SPASH Girls Golf – Pechinski won Leg #7 of the WVC Girls Golf Meet this week, leading the Panthers to the team title, three shots ahead of Rapids. In the win, Pechinski set the record for women at Trapp River for the front nine.
  • Addison Lavicka / Jazelle Hartwig, Athens Volleyball – The sophomore duo have been key for Athens all season long, and their three match win streak is in large part to their contributions. Lavicka had 16 kills and 12 assists, and Hartwig collected 16 assists and 11 digs as Athens swept Auburndale in Marawood Volleyball this week.
  • Ally Zuleger, Stratford Volleyball (nominated online)In the Tigers’ straight sets win over Auburndale, Zuleger collected 4 aces and led Stratford with 10 assists.
  • Andrew Scheer, Columbus Catholic Boys Cross CountryScheer took first at the Spencer Cross Country Invitational on Thursday, winning by over 26 seconds with a time of 17:29.9.
