OnFocus Athlete of the Week, April 23 to April 29
- Kendall Duellman, Assumption Girls Soccer – Duellman had three goals and three assists in the Royals’ 8-0 win over Arcadia/Independence. Earlier in the week, Duellman had four goals in the Royals’ 7-0 win over Iola-Scandinavia.
- Eli Gustafson / Tyler Ackerman, Newman Catholic Baseball(nominated online)– Ackerman and Gustafson were each 2X4 and had 3 RBI, each also collecting homeruns, as Newman Catholic edged Chequamegon in Marawood Conference baseball, 8-6 this past week.
- Kaylin Yenter/ Katy Ilkka, Pacelli Softball(nominated online)– The duo is terrozing opposing pitchers for the 14-0 Cardinals this season. Yenter(1.325) and Ilkka(1.287) sport gaudy OPS(on base plus slugging) that have the Cardinals’ offense running on all cylinders. Pacelli has outscored opponents 98 to 4 in CWC play thus far this season.
- Emma Roeper, Stratford Softball – Roeper came up big in the bottom of the 7th inning in Stratford’s Marawood Conference tilt with Marathon, singling in the winning run to give Stratford a 5-4 win. Roeper is leading the Tigers with a .519 batting average and .600 sluggling percentate.
- Megan Zemke, D.C. Everest Girls Track and Field– Zemke claimed first place in three events: long jump, 100 m hurdles, and 300 m hurdles at the Stevens Point Panther Track Invite.
