OnFocus Athlete of the Week, February 9 – February 15
- Gabby Neilitz, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Girls Basketball – Neilitz scored a season-high 30 points as Wisconsin Rapids collected a 71-50 win over Oshkosh North.
- Tony Raczek, Stevens Point Boys Swimming and Diving – Raczek qualified for the WIAA State Swimming and Diving Championships, taking first at the Division 1 Hudson sectionals. Raczek and teammates Jacob Faust, Landon Bicknase and Gavin Stelzer earned a state berth in the 200 medley relay.
- Keaton Barwick, D.C. Everest Boys Swimming and Diving – Barwick earned a return trip to state, taking first at sectionals in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, and also was a member of the Evergreens’ sectional winning squad in the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays. Barwick’s teammate Will Van Ermen took first in the 100 backstroke.
- Kristina Ouimette, Lakeland Union Girls Basketball – Ouimette has averaged 30.9 points per game(third in the state) for the Thunderbirds, leading the charge to a perfect record of 12-0 in the GNC.
- Brooks Hinson, Marshfield Boys Basketball – Hinson(18 points per game) leads a trio of Tigers averaging in double figures (Landon Lee, 13.9 and Chris Pohl, 13.3) leading Marshfield to a clinching of the regular season championship in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
