OnFocus Athlete of the Week, January 26 – February 2
- Braden Schneider, Cadott Boys Basketball – Schneider reached the coveted mark of 1000 points for his varsity career and did so in grand fashion, scoring a season-high 32 points as Cadott defeated Thorp 87-68 in Cloverbelt action.
- Taelyn Jirschele, Mosinee Girls Basketball – Jirschele became Mosinee’s All-Time Leading Scorer, breaking the 25 year old record of 1,280 points, held by Becky Buhr(Steiber.)
- Lucas Stahnke, Edgar Boys Wrestling (nominated online)– Stahnke improved to 19-10 on the season at the Marawood Conference Wrestling Tournament, taking the championship at 215 pounds.
- Jordyn Jaglinski, Assumption Girls Basketball – Jordyn scored a game-high 25 points in leading Assumption to a 56-40 win over Auburndale, cementing the Royals’ hold on first place in the Marawood Conference South.
- Blake Raab, Auburndale Boys Basketball – Raab came up big for the Royals in their 50-36 win over Newman Catholic, and has spearheaded Auburndale’s charge to the top of the Marawood Conference South, sporting a 10-1 Marawood record, 16-1 overall.
