Marshfield (OnFocus) – Great performances from area athletes deserve to be celebrated. Check out some of the top performers for this past week, and be sure to vote for the top performer!
OnFocus Team of the Week, June 13 – June 19
OnFocus Athlete of the Week Nominees, June 13 – June 19
- Logan Cleary, Nekoosa Boys Track and Field – Cleary took first in the shot put at the Osceola Sectional, with a personal record of 62′ 2.75″. Cleary’s mark puts him at the top of the state for shot put throws by all boys this season.
- Konnor Wolf, Edgar Boys Track and Field – Wolf is headed to the WIAA State Track Meet, and has a busy schedule ahead of him. Wolf was a member of Edgar’s 4X100 and 4X200 first place relays at the Rosholt Sectional, and also qualified in the triple jump and 110 M Hurdles.
- Kaylee Rajek / Brenna Lehrke / Sadie Rakovec, DC Everest Girls Track – The Evergreens’ trio finished 1-2-3 in the triple jump at the Division 1 Everest Sectionals, heading to the WIAA state meet together. Lehrke also qualified in the long jump for DCE.
- Joe Sullivan, Medford Boys Track and Field – Sullivan is headed to the WIAA State Track Meet after taking first in the 1600 M and 3200 M runs at the Osceola Sectional
- Tim DeLoye, Wausau West Boys Track and Field – Deloye won the triple jump and long jump at the DC Everest Sectionals, and also will be a member of West’s entries in the 4X100 and 4X200 M Relays.
