OnFocus Athlete of the Week Nominees, Week of May 9 – May 15
- Siarra Hart, Athens Softball(nominated online) – Hart has been the BlueJays ace this season, and leads the Marawood North with two wins.
- Sam Casperson, Columbus Catholic Softball – Casperson was the key figure in the Dons 15-5 win over Spencer. Casperson was the winning pitcher, giving up 3 hits and walking 4 while striking out 4. She also led the Dons at the plate, going 5X5 and picking up a double and triple.
- Caden Healy, Colby Boys Track – Healy picked up titles in the 100 M and 200 M dash runs and the long jump at the Abbotsford Meet this week.
- Courtney Donahue, Marshfield Softball – Donahue came up big for Marshfield in the Tigers’ Game 1 win over WVC League Leader Wisconsin Rapids. Donahue surrendered just three hits and struck out 12 as the Tigers won Game 1, 3-2.
- Ross Elmhorst, Abbotsford/Colby Baseball – Elmhorst leads the Marawood North with 17 hits and 11 RBI, and is tied for the conference wins lead with 2.
