Marshfield (OnFocus) – Great performances from area athletes deserve to be celebrated. Check out some of the top performers for this past week, and be sure to vote for the top performer!
Athlete of the Week Nominees, Week of November 8 – November 14
- Trevor Foemmel, Marshfield Football – Foemmel had an awesome night for the Tigers, throwing for four touchdowns as Marshfield defeated Stanley-Boyd 29-13. Foemmel had touchdown throws of 36, 6, 49, and 23 yards.
- Drayton Lehman, Mosinee Football – Lehman had 20 catches for 188 yards and 4 touchdowns as Mosinee downed Cadott 35-23.
- Matthew Szymanski, Loyal Football – In Loyal’s 20-0 Level 1 shutout of Independence/Gilmanton, Szymanski rushed 37 times for 275 yards and had three touchdowns.
- Cordero Ysquierdo, Nekoosa Football – Ysquierdo rushes for 195 yards and 3 TD as Nekoosa outscores Virocqua 52 – 32 in Level 1. Ysquierdo scored on runs of 60, 2 and 1 yards, had 3 receptions for 59 yards, and led Nekoosa with 7 tackles.
- Cooper Diedrich, Athens Football – Diedrich had three touchdowns for Athens in their 48-0 shutout of Rib Lake / Prentice, scoring on a 66 yard punt return, 39 yard interception for a touchdown, and a run of 2 yards.
