OnFocus Athlete of the Week, October 13 – October 19
- Dominic Gironella, Lakeland Boys Soccer – The senior was key in Lakeland’s Great Northern Conference Championship, leading the GNC with 19 goals and 42 points overall.
- Lauren Homolka, Marshfield Volleyball – Homolka played an instrumental role in Marshfield’s conference title this season, leading the Wisconsin Valley Conference in kills(133) and blocks/set (1.15)
- Samya Hughes, Nekoosa Volleyball – Hughes collected 473 kills this season, good for fifth in the state. The Papermakers claimed the South Central Conference Title this season with a 9-1 record, 20-13 overall.
- Nash Krcmar, Nekoosa Football – The senior quarterback/defensive back came up Big all season long for the Papermakers. Krcmar picked up 6 interceptions, tied for second in the state.
- Katie Kornowski / Lenna Mayer, Stevens Point Volleyball – Kornowski led the Wisconsin Valley Conference in assists with 414 and Mayer was the conference leader in digs with 267. Kornowski picked up 979 assists on the season, tops in the state! Mayer’s 540 digs were the third-most in the state!
