OnFocus Athlete of the Week, October 30 – November 5

  • Amber Winter, Merrill Girls Swimming – Winter took first in the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM at the Merrill Division 2 Sectional, and is headed to state.
  • Faith Risa, Marshfield Girls Swimming – The Tigers’senior is headed to the WIAA Girls State Swimming and Diving Championships after picking up second place finishes in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke at the Hudson Division 1 Sectionals.
  • Madisyn Schraufnagel, Colby/Abbotsford Girls Swimming – Schraufnagel, a freshman, is head to the WIAA Girls Division 2 State Swimming and Diving Meet after taking first place in the 100 backstroke at the Merrill Division 2 Sectional.
  •  Paige Dekiep, Tomahawk Girls Swimming – Dekiep took first in the 100 butterfly at the  Merrill Division 2 Sectional and punched her ticket to state.
  • Ellery Ottem, River Falls Girls Swimming – Ottem is headed to state after taking first in the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle at the Hudson Division 1 Sectional.
