OnFocus Athlete of the Week, October 8 – October 14
- Manny Schultz, Assumption Football – Schultz rushed for 164 yards on 17 carries, and scored on runs of 15, 14, and 32 yards in the Royals’ 34-26 win over Rosholt in Week 9 action. Schultz also led the Assumption defense with 9 solo tackles and a sack.
- Isaac Scheer, Columbus Catholic Boys Cross Country – Scheer took first place at the Cloverbelt Cross Country Meet on Saturday.
- Sara Mlodik, D.C. Everest Girls Cross Country – Mlodik has continued her cross country domination this season. The defending state champion claimed yet another title, finishing first at the Wisconsin Valley Cross Country Meet, thirty seconds ahead of the field.
- JV Castillo, Abbotsford Football – Castillo had a big night Thursday evening in Abbotsford’s 35-22 Week 9 win over Pittsville. The senior quarterback rushed for 239 yards on 16 carries and netted four touchdowns.
- Gavin Esterholm, Phillips Boys Cross Country – Esterholm took first place at the Marawood Cross Country Meet on Saturday, finishing 10 seconds ahead of the pack.
