Honoring the legends

Located at USA Lacrosse national headquarters, the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Museum honors the history and legends in the sport. The Hall of Fame was established in 1957 and moved to its current location in 2016 with a new array of interactive exhibits. Among the features:

  • The Richard M. Moran Gallery, honoring the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductees
  • Lockers displaying equipment and uniforms from the most recent NCAA champions and Tewaaraton winners.
  • A display showing the steps to making a traditional wooden stick, accompanied by a video from Native American stickmaker Alf Jacques.
  • Various pieces of equipment spanning the generations of lacrosse players
  • Uniforms, rings and memorabilia from the U.S. national teams
  • A video exhibit honoring the victims from the lacrosse community that died in 9/11. The exhibit includes a piece of steel from the World Trade Center that was gifted to USA Lacrosse.

Visiting the Museum

The National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Museum currently has limited hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is open to the public. Mask use is currently mandatory for all visitors.
