OnFocus Pittsville Panthers Varsity Softball Season Preview
- Key returners this season:
Senior, Haylee Zawislan. 1st team all-conference catcher, who led the team the past 2 years with batting average and overall offensive stats. She is a natural leader, and her teammates look to her for confidence and guidance.
Sophomore, Brooke Grossman. Brooke stepped up in a big way last year to pitch for us. She had little pitching experience, but took on the responsibility like a pro. She never gave up and improved immensely with hard work and determination.
Sophomore, Gwyn Kumm. She was strong with her bat last year. She was 2nd on the team overall with batting average and on base percentage.
- Strengths of your team:
Pride, determination, and motivation.
- Conference outlook:
Last year we had a younger team with new pitching. We have come back stronger this year with heavy bats and experience in our defense. Look for us to climb up the conference ladder this year. 😉
