Conference outlook: Hoping to Compete with Pacelli, Pittsville, amd Wild Rose for a shot at a confrence campionship.
Keys to your success this season: We are fairly young yet, starting 4 Jr’s and a Sr., returning 4 starters from last years team that went 19-7 overall. Off to a 2-0 start this season with non conference wins over Mauston and Weyauwega Fremont. Varsity experience should be a plus as we have 5 girls with good varsity minutes in the previous two years. Being patient on offense, limiting turnovers, staying out of foul trouble, and rebounding are gonna be big factors in our sucess this year.
Coach’s comments: anything else you’d like to share?
We haven’t had a conference this deep with talent in a long time, should be a fun season to follow in the cwc south this year with the top 4 teams in the conference. Playing some bigger non conference games this season hopefully will benefit us down the road. Will be a tough sectional for playoffs, Otherwise looking forward to some good competitive basketball this season.
