Conference outlook:
Amherst is led by a strong group of returning seniors, 2 of which started in the 28-1 team that made it to
Appleton in 2022.  They look to be the front runner in the Central Wisconsin – East Conference along
with Bonduel who made a state appearance last season and Wittenberg-Birnamwood who return strong
pitching and a number of starters.  Shiocton should also compete despite losing a talented senior class last  year.  Iola-Scandinavia and Weyauwega-Fremont will be much improved this year as well and the
conference as a whole looks to be stronger top to bottom this season.

Keys to your success this season:
The Amherst Falcons will bring enough competitive pitching to keep them in games even against tougher
opponents, but at least to start the year they lack a true ace pitcher.  AJ O’Brien and Michael Glodowski
are expected to compete for that honor as the year goes on.  Having a strong senior class should improve
their defensive numbers this year and the real key to the Falcons success will be offensive!  They are
capable of rolling out a strong lineup 1-9 including 5-6 senior starters, many of which return with all
conference recognition and great speed on the bases to go with it.
