Coaching staff: Derek Felska (Head Coach), Brandon Langer (Assistant Coach)
Key returners: Jesus Gomez Nava (Sr.), Xzavior Smith (Sr.), Antonio Perez (Sr.), Logan Lund (Sr.), Nolan Oens (Sr.), Caiden Loomis (So.)
Key newcomers: Holden Eckerman (Fr.), Cade Dutton (Fr.), Ivon Heinrich (Jr.)
Conference outlook: We finished in 3rd in Conference last year, we hope to improve that this year.
Keys to your success this season: Strong and experienced doubles teams. Excellent, athletic singles players returning to the lineup.
Coach’s comments: anything else you’d like to share? Our team starts this season with a heavy heart, after the loss of our assistant coach Sterling Walsh due to a tragic accident last summer. Our team plays in his memory; where he was not only a great coach but an even better person who had an incredible passion for the game and helping young people (he was also the MHS Girls Tennis head coach) improve their game.
