OnFocus Season Preview: Shiocton Chiefs Volleyball

Shiocton Varsity volleyball for 2024.

Coaching staff: Terri Roesler – Head VB Coach. Assistant Coaches are Haylee Gomm and Nate Krake

Key returners: Billie Jean Puls is a senior, 3yr varsity starter. She is our starting setter/RH. She will play all six rotations. Megan Wilkinson is a senior, 3yr varsity starter. She is our starting MH/MB. Destiny Monnot is a senior. She was injured last year but is back and will be our Libero.

Key Newcomers: Brooke Beschta is a junior and will be our other setter, Cordelia Monnot is a sophomore and she is one of our starting Outside Hitters and will play all six rotations, Sophie Wagner is a Freshman and our other starting Outside Hitter and she will play all six rotations.

Conference Outlook: The CWC East Conference as usual will be tough again this season. I am hoping to blend experience with talented underclassmen to remain competitive. I am hoping to finish middle to the top of the conference this year.

Keys to our success this season: On the floor communication by our leaders to promote confidence which will then lead to a solid defense and a consistent offense.
