This would be my 4th year coaching.
How did the team do last year?
Overall Record 8-11
Conference Record 6-4
Who are your returning players this year?
Everyone is returning except one senior that graduated.
The team consists of the following returning players:
Seniors – Gavin L., Joey Z.
Juniors – Gavin K., Logan D., Tanner D., Caleb D., Blake S.
Sophomores – Cameron C., James B.
Who are your other players on the team?
Juniors – Hayden H., Brody M., Emmitt E.
Freshman – Asher W., Brett T., Finnley S., Mason B., Brody A.
What are your thoughts for this year’s team and the upcoming season?
I am looking forward to a better season seeing each player’s improvements from last year and that many players are returning.
When is your first game/meet?
April 3rd, weather permitting
What can you say about this year’s competition?
I believe that other teams have lost quite a few of their senior players. Still feel that our conference games will be competitive and will hopefully give us a run at a conference title. Non-conference games will hopefully give us new opportunities and chances to help us grow as a team.
Are there any changes planned for the team this year?
Excited for a few more upperclassmen that joined this year and a handful of freshmen that came out. I see a lot of potential and options for our team. Will have quite a few options for pitching and players willing to try out different positions on the field. Will try different line-ups to see what will work best for the team and bring home the wins.
