OnFocus Team of the Week, August 21 August 27
- Phillips Football – The Loggers opened the season with a 70-22 thrashing of Frederic. Phillips dominated on the ground, rushing 33 times for 614 yards.
- Owen-Withee Football – The Blackhawks opened the season with a 56-6 thumping of New Auburn.
- Marshfield Volleyball(nominated online) – In one week of action, the Tigers are already in high gear, zooming out to a 7-1 record.
- Auburndale Football – The Eagles are flying high at 2-0, collecting dominating wins over Menominee Indian(76-0) and Rib Prentice(76-0.)
- Medford Football – The Raiders handled perennial power Amherst in nonconference action, 50-14.
