OnFocus Team of the Week, August 28 – September 3
- Port Edwards Football – Port is off to a 2-0 start, collecting wins over Goodman/Pembine(44-14) and Niiagara(47-0).
- Thorp Football – The Cardinals are 2-0, defeating Prairie Farm 52-14 and McDonell Central 50-27.
- Medford Boys Soccer – Medford knocked off two top contenders in the GNC, first defeating Rhinelander(1-1, 6-5 on penalty kicks) and then Lakeland 4-1.
- Wausau West Football – The Warriors’ came back in the second half after trailing 17-7, taking their only lead of the game on Ray Reineck’s 15 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, as Wausau West defeated Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln 20-17 to move to 3-0.
- Gilman Football – The Pirates are off to a 2-0 start, collecting wins over Lake Holcombe(50-0) and Bruce(48-0).
