Team of the Week Nominees, December 13 – December 19
- Central Wisconsin Girls Hockey(nominated online) – The Storm are off to a 4-0 start this season, outscoring their opponents 17-2.
- Athens Boys Basketball – Athens picked up three wins this week. The Blue Jays downed Nekoosa 79-56 and Wisconsin Valley Lutheran 70-56 before knocking off undefeated Columbus Catholic 63-51 on Saturday.
- Spencer Girls Basketball – The Rockets had a busy slate of games this week, going 2-2, improving to 5-4. Although Spencer dropped a pair of Cloverbelt East games, they came up big with a big 48-42 nonconference win at Athens before tumbling Ashland Saturday in overtime, 52-48.

- Colby Girls Basketball – Colby began their season this week, going 2-1. The Hornets picked up Cloverbelt East wins over Spencer, 55-51, and Granton, 60-34.
- SPASH Boys Hockey – The Panthers improved to 3-0 in the WVC and 4-3 overall with a 13-3 shellacking of D.C. Everest.
