OnFocus Team of the Week, June 5 – June 11
- Assumption Girls Soccer/Softball – The Royals had quite a day on Saturday. The Assumption Girls Soccer Team advanced to state with a 3-0 win over Northland Pines, preceded earlier in the day by the Royals’ softball team claiming the Division 5 state title with a 3-1 win over Barneveld.
- Mosinee Baseball – Mosinee advanced to state by taking the sectional title on Tuesday. Mosinee hung on for a 5-4 win over Altoona and a 10-3 win over Rice Lake.
- Amherst Baseball – The Falcons punched their ticket to state by defeating Kewaunee 5-1 in the sectional semifinal before routing Oconto 10-0 in the sectional title game.
- Kaukauna Softball – The Ghosts capped off a perfect 31-0 season with a 11-3 win over Sun Prairie. Kaukauna dominated all season long, outscoring its opponents 179 to 17.
- Columbus Catholic Baseball – Columbus dismantled Lena 11-2 in the sectional semifinal and shut out Rib Lake 5-0 in the sectional finals to earn their way to the state tournament.
