OnFocus Athlete of the Week nominees: May 2 – May 8
OnFocus Team of the Week Nominees, May 2 – May 8
- Stratford Baseball – The Tigers are off to a 6-0 start, 2-0 in the Marawood South. Stratford’s offensive output has been outright offensive to opposing teams, with the Tigers scoring 82 runs and giving up just one. Five shutout wins are already in the books for Stratford.
- Assumption Softball – The Royals are 5-0 on the season, 2-0 in the Marawood South. Assumption has outscored their opponents 59-0 in the early goings of this season.
- SPASH Boys Cross Country – The Panthers took home the WIAA Alternate Season Division 1 State Cross Country title on Saturday, held at Blackhawk Golf Course in Janesville.
- Marshfield Girls Track – The Tigers took the top spot in their home Quad, and the Tigers’ showed their strength by sweeping the 4X100, 4X200, and 4X400 relays.
- Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Softball – Rapids is 4-0 in the WVC, 6-2 overall. The Red Raiders have outscored conference opponents 50-12 this season.
