Team of the Week Nominees, November 1 – November 7
- Spencer/Columbus Football – The Rockets have faced Amherst in the playoffs before, but in their first matchup as CWC-Large opponents, S/C was up for the challenge. The Rockets knocked off #2 Amherst 30-29 by coming back twice in the second half with touchdowns and two point conversions to gain the win.
- Colby Football – The Hornets and Abbotsford renewed their rivalry as fellow members of the Marawood Conference, and Colby claimed the inaugural Milk Can with a resounding 44-6 win.
- Athens Football – The Blue Jays concluded the regular season with a resounding 46-28 win over Westby, with Dayne Diethelm and Cooper Diedrich combining for 6 touchdowns.
- Medford Football – Medford went into the last week of the regular season with a tough task ahead of them, and the Raiders came up big. Medford(ranked #4 D3) handled Rhinelander(#2 D3) 24-7 to win the Great Northern Conference title.
- Rhinelander Girls Swimming – The Hodags won the sectional title with 387 points ahead of Rice Lake(301) and Wausau East (287).
