OnFocus Team of the Week, September 4 – September 10
- Amherst Football – Trailing by ten points in the fourth quarter, the Falcons tied the game with just under two minutes left then won the game on Sam Wangelin’s 24 yard field goal as time expired to give Amherst a 31-28 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood.
- Stevens Point Boys Cross Country – The Panthers are proving they are a deep team this season, and with four runners in the top 10, SPASH took first at its home invite on Saturday.
- Merrill Girls Swimming(nominated online) – The Bluejays topped the field at the Lodi Invite on Saturday, using depth to best the field. Key for Merrill’s success this season have been the efforts of Amber Winter and Bailee Sommer, who also led Merril in their win over Wausau West this week.
- Mosinee Football – Mosinee crushed Ashland in Week 4 to improve to 2-1-1 on the season.
- Edgar Volleyball(nominated online) – The Wildcats are off to an 8-0 start, having lost just three sets this season.
