2022 OnFocus Week 6 High School Football Scoreboard

Gilman (4-0, 1-0 CWC East) @Owen-Withee (4-0,1-0 CWC East)

OnFocus Computer Prediction: Gilman by 7

Analysis: All eyes in 8-Player Football are on this game. Gilman has outscored opponents 224-0 while O-W has had a 209-43 advantage.  Owen-Witthee’s running game has dominated opponents this season, but Gilman has not allowed its opponents to establish any kind of running game. Computer numbers show Gilman has the edge.

Amherst (3-2, 2-0 CWC Large) @ Weyauwega-Fremont (4-1, 2-1 CWC Large)

OnFocus Computer Prediction: Amherst by 15

Analysis: After two losses to open the season, the Falcons have reeled off three in a row.

Amherst defeated Shiocton 14-7 in Week 3, and Shiocton just shut out W-F 21-0.  Weyauwega-Fremont started the season 4-0, but their four wins were against Pacelli(1-4) and a trio of 0-5 teams(Rosholt, Nekoosa, Spencer/Columbus.) Computer numbers point to a blowout.

Edgar (4-1, 2-1 Marawood) @Abbotsford (4-1, 2-1 Marawood)

OnFocus Computer Prediction: Edgar by 12

Analysis: After beginning the season 4-0, Edgar fell to Colby 32-6 in Week 5. Edgar’s lone win over a team with a winning record, however, was a 14-0 win over Stratford, and the Wildcats will be out to prove they are worthy of their previous top ranking this season. Abbotsford began the season 4-0 as well, but the Falcons were dominated by Marathon, 56-12 in Week 4. The Falcons’ defeated opponents are winless this season, and Abby is out to prove they are better than their Week 4 performance. Computer numbers give the edge to Edgar.

Marathon (3-2, 2-1 Marawood) @ Auburndale (6-0, 3-0 Marawood)

OnFocus Computer Prediction: Auburndale by 8

Analysis: Marathon defeated a pair of winless teams(Rosholt, Rib Lake/Prentice) fell to 4-1 Assumption, and lost to 1-4 Stanley-Boyd before downing previously unbeaten Abbotsford in Week 5. Auburndale has throttled opponents this year, outscoring  them 231-8 This game is a potential trap game for the Eagles, who end the year at Abbotsford, host Colby, then at Edgar. Computer numbers point to a higher advantage for Auburndale, but the longtime rivalry in the Marawood factors in.

***********************************************************************

Stratford (3-1-1, 3-0 CWC Large) @ Wittenberg-Birnamwood (4-1, 2-1 CWC Large)

OnFocus Computer Prediction: Stratford by 5

Analysis: The Tigers began the season with a tie with Mosinee before falling to Edgar. Since then, they’ve rolled off three straight wins. W-B’s lone loss is to Amherst(3-2, 3-0 CWC Large) by three points. Numbers point to an edge to Stratford, despite the game being on the road.
