Edgar (6-1, 5-1 Marawood) @ Auburndale (8-0, 7-0 Marawood)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Auburndale by 10

Analysis –  Edgar’s chance of a Marawood title goes thru Auburndale. A Wildcats’ win and then Colby losing to Auburndale in Week 9 paves the way for a three-way tie for the conference championship. Auburndale and Colby each control their own destiny, with wins this week it would set up arguably the biggest game between two high-ranked conference opponents in the state. Eagles won’t have it easy, but the computer has them winning at home.

Medford (6-1, 5-0 GNC) @ Mosinee (5-1-1, 5-0 GNC)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Mosinee by 4

Analysis –  All eyes in the Great Northern Conference have been on this matchup all season long. Both teams boast prolific offenses, tough defenses and big-time players. The computer numbers point to Mosinee having the advantage, at home.

Neillsville/Granton (2-5, 1-4 Cloverbelt) @  Osseo-Fairchild(0-7, 0-5 Cloverbelt)

Analysis –  Neillsville/Granton has a chance at earning a playoff berth if they win their final two games. These long term rivals know each other wel. The computer numbers show N/G has a clear advantage.

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Merrill by 10

Analysis –  Merrill is guaranteed a playoff berth with a win this week or next week over Mosinee. Computer shows Merrill gets that win this week.

Stanley-Boyd (3-4, 2-3 Cloverbelt) @ Regis(7-0, 5-0 Cloverbelt)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Regis by 25

Analysis –  Stanley-Boyd is assured of a playoff berth if they win their last two games, but that is a tough task this week, when they are on the road at powerhouse Regis. The computer numbers show Regis has a decided advantage.

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Wisconsin Rapids by 18

Analysis –  Wisconsin Rapids is fresh off a defeat conference-leading Marshfield, and in a 3 way tie with Marshfield and Wausau West atop the VFA West. The numbers show Rapids winning big.

Gilman (5-1, 2-1 CWC East) @ Thorp(6-0, 3-0 CWC East)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Thorp by 8

Analysis –  Gilman looks to prove it’s still one of the best 8-Player teams in the state. Undefeated Thorp looks to prove they are poised to take on anyone in the 8-Player Playoffs. Computer shows Thorp with the win.

Menomonie(2-5, 2-3 Big Rivers) @ River Falls(6-1, 4-1 Big Rivers)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – River Falls by 8

Analysis –  Menomonie earns a trip to the playoffs with wins in their final two games. River Falls earns at least a  share of the Big Rivers title with wins in their two final games. Rivalry game, and River Falls just has too much in this one.

Marshfield (5-3, 4-1 VFA) @ SPASH (3-5, 2-3 VFA)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Marshfield by 6

Analysis –  Marshfield looks to rebound from their Week 7 loss to Rapids, dropping the Tigers into three-way tie atop the VFA West. SPASH has hopes of derailing Marshfield, and in this matchup of longtime rivals, anything can happen. Computer says Marshfield is favored on the road.

Marathon(3-4, 2-3 Marawood) @ Pittsville(1-6, 1-4 Marawood)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Pittsville by 1

Analysis –  Pittsville has played opponents tough all season, and is perhaps the best one-win team in the state, playing in the tough Marawood Conference. Marathon has alternated wins this season, and won’t have it easy on the road with the Panthers. Computer shows Pittsville gets the narrowest of margins, playing at home.

Abbotsford(4-3, 2-3 Marawood) @ Colby(7-0, 5-0 Marawood)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Colby by 36

Analysis –  Two rivals just miles apart play for the third time in 12 months, with Colby having the upper hand in last year’s regular season and playoff games. Abbotsford bolted out to a 4-0 start before dropping  Marawood Conference games to Marathon, Edgar and Auburndale. Colby aims to repeat as conference champions, with a win setting up the huge game next week against co-conference leader Auburndale. Computer shows Colby coming up big.

Weyauwega-Fremont(4-3, 2-3 CWC Large)Wittenberg-Birnamwood(5-2, 3-2 CWC Large)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Wittenberg-Birnamwood by 6

Analysis –  Wittenberg-Birnamwood has a slim chance of earning a share of the CWC- Large title, but requires Amherst and Stratford to each lose two games. This game comes down to W-F needing two wins to earn a ticket to the playoffs. Computer shows it’s going to be close.

Analysis –  All signs point to  a blowout by the Cardinals. The computer has Newman slated to win big.

Analysis –  Stratford has won five in a row. S/C has struggled to score this season, and with a stingy Stratford defense, won’t have it any easier this week.

Analysis –  Assumption is on a roll, and the Royals’ running game is going to be difficult for Webster to stop. Computer shows Assumption winning big.

OnFocus Computer Prediction –  Unity by 2

Analysis –  Both teams are positioning themselves for a higher seedin the playoffs, and look to take possession of second place in the Lakeland to themselves. This one looks to be tight, with the computer giving the edge to the home team.

Analysis –  Phillips is playing for a chance at a conference title, and clearly has a big edge over Winter/Birchwood.

Analysis –  Two long-time rivals square off with a chance at winning a conference title. A must-win for both, the game looks to be high scoring.

Athens(4-2, 1-2 CWC East) @ Greenwood(1-5, 0-3 CWC East)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Athens by 29

Analysis –  Athens looks to prove they are a top caliber 8-Player team. Greenwood has struggled to score, and against the high-powered Bluejays offense, that is not a good sign. Computer has Athens coming up big.

Analysis –  O-W looks to cruise in this one. Computer shows the Blackhawksi should easily win, and big.

Mukwonago (7-0, 5-0 Classic Eight) @ Kettle Moraine(5-2, 4-1 Classic Eight)

OnFocus Computer Prediction – Mukwonago by 5

Analysis –  Mukwonago clinhes at least a share of the Classic Eight title with a win. Kettle Moraine would move into a first place tie with Mukwonago and Muskego(with a win). KM has a bump playing at home, but Mukwonago gets the nod from the computer.
