Owen-Withee Boys Race Past Clear Lake in WIAA Regional Semifinal

The Owen-Withee Blackhawks turned back a first half challenge from the Clear Lake Warriors and ran away in the second half for a 68-43 win in WIAA Regional Boys Basketball action Friday evening.

Owen-Withee jumped out to an early 17-7 lead seven minutes into the game before Clear Lake went on an 11-0 run over a five minute span. Following a timeout, the Blackhawks were able to regroup and O-W led 30-20 at halftime.

 

After the break, Owen-Withee held an 18 point advantage five minutes into the half before embarking on a 10-0 run in two minutes of play to put the game out of reach.
