Owen-Withee Cross Country Battles at Division 3 Sectional

The Owen-Withee cross country teams ran Saturday, October 21st at the WIAA Division 3 Sectional Meet held at Cadott. The top two teams advance on the the State Meet in Wisconsin Rapids along with the top five individual finishers that are not part of a team moving on. Colton Paczkowski placed 8th in the race overall which left him two places shy of advancing to the state meet. He completed the 5000 meter race in a time of 17:35. Mason Gay finished the race in 18:37 for 22nd place, Quinn Hatlestad was 67th in a time of 20:28, Steven Negron was 85th in 21:27, and Connor Hanson was 89th in 21:43. The boys team finished 8th overall among the 16 teams. Ellie Petersen led the OW girls with a 62nd with a time of 24:37 while Tegan Hatlestad finished in 84th with a time of 27:21.
