West Salem (OnFocus) – Windy and chilly conditions were on tap for the WIAA Division 3 State Cross Country Championships, held at Maple Grove Venues and Onalaska High School.
The Pacelli Cardinals finished third with 138 points. Sheboygan Area Lutheran took first place with 56 points and Brookwood was second with 121 points.
Leading the way for Pacelli was Gabe Hoerter, who finished 12th overall in a time of 17:02.48.
Carl Lundgren of Auburndale was right behind in 13th, 17:03.24
Andrew Scheer of Columbus Catholic finished in 17:39.10, good for 33rd place.
