Green Bay (OnFocus) – As reported by David Megargree of the Associated Press, the Green Bay Packers have reached terms with offensive tackle David Bakhtiari on a record setting contract extension.
The contract, confirmed by Bahktiari’s agent Mark Humenik, is a four-year deal worth up to $105.5 millions with a $30 million signing bonus.
The contract sets the record for highest contract ever given to an offensive lineman.
Bahktiari was set to become an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of the season.
