OnFocus: Favorite subject/class and why?
Stepec: My favorite class is my marketing class. I enjoy finding ways to market to people and what all goes into having effective marketing.
OnFocus: Who is/was your first favorite teacher and why?
Stepec: William Richter, because he is very enthusiastic and encouraging in class and makes class a lot of fun.
OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?
Stepec: peanut butter and ham sandwich
OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?
Stepec: grunge/alt rock or gospel rap
OnFocus: What are your plans after high school?
Stepec: I plan on attending UW-Whitewater to study marketing
OnFocus:If they made a movie about you, and your life, what would it be called? –
Stepec: Blondie
OnFocus:What sports do you play?
Stepec: in school I play tennis and soccer. In my free time I like to golf, play basketball, and disc golf.
OnFocus:Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?
Stepec: Dominic Gironella
OnFocus:What are some memorable moments you have had as an athlete?
Stepec: I’ve played matches and games in so pretty crazy weather. Rain, snow, wind, mud, played in it all.
OnFocus: Who are your favorite athletes and/or teams?
Stepec: Carlos Alcaraz, the Minnesota Vikings
OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about competing in front of family, friends and fans?
Stepec: the support even when I lose or don’t perform my best.
OnFocus: Do you have a funny or unusual moment(s) you have experienced in sports?
Stepec: while playing soccer the opposing team scored on their own goal.
OnFocus:What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Lakeland?
Stepec: the best part is that our school always puts the student part first and they take that very seriously. Our school also does a lot of recognition for our student-athletes.
OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?
Stepec: always work hard at whatever you’re doing. It could be sports, school, work, or a project at home. Always work hard and do your best.
