OnFocus: What subjects/classes have been your favorite, and why?

Holberg:  Math and phy. ed have been some of my favorite classes because they allowed me to take a break from the other stressful subjects in school.

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?

Holberg:  Some of my hobbies include playing softball, watching other sports, spending time with family and friends, hiking and traveling.

OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Holberg: Believe in yourself, Believe in the team, Believe in the system


OnFocus: Who is/was your first favorite teacher and why?

Holberg:  My first favorite teacher was Mrs. Mlodik because she kept school fun and taught me more than the curriculum, she taught me important life lessons that I can use for the rest of my life.

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

Holberg:  Oysters

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?

Holberg:  Country

OnFocus: What are your plans after high school?

Holberg:  Continuing my academic and softball career at UWSP, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders

OnFocus: If they made a movie about you, and your life, what would it be called?

Holberg:  They Thought She Couldn’t

OnFocus: What sports did you play throughout your high school career?

Holberg:  Softball, tennis, swimming

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted
island?

Holberg:  Jess Dekarske

OnFocus: What are some memorable moments you have had as an athlete?

Holberg:  Winning third place at sectionals for tennis with my sister on the court with me, my dad as my coach, and my mom in the stands with a camera in hand
Playing my senior softball season, once again, with my sister on the field with me, my
dad as my coach, and my mom with a camera in her hand

Beating SPASH sophomore year for the first time in 1015 years and then beating them
again senior year at home

OnFocus: Who are your favorite athletes and/or teams?

Holberg: Oklahoma Softball, Sis Bates, Grace Lyons, & Josie Muffley

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about competing in front of family, friends and fans?

Holberg:  Celebrating big moments together.

OnFocus: Do you have a funny or unusual moment(s) you have experienced in
sports?

Holberg:  Nothing memorable

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a studentathlete?

Holberg: Celebrating team successes against big team rivals at Culver’s after the game

Holberg: Believe in yourself, Believe in the team, Believe in the system
