OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?
Baumgartner: Teegan Streit, he doesn’t get outside too much and he’d probably struggle without video games.
Now that my career is winding down its really mind boggling how fast four years can go by. So I guess I’d just say to take it all in and to cherish it while it lasts.

OnFocus: Do you have a funny or unusual moment(s) you have experienced in sports?
Baumgartner: There have been quite a few funny moments. I would say a good one would be when I was in th 7th grade and we were going out to one of our football games and w had to walk across blacktop in our cleats and we all slipped and fell. That was a pretty interesting start to my football career
OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Edgar?
Baumgartner: The best thing about being a student athlete at Edgar would have to be the support from the community. All the teachers and staff come out to our games and we get a lot of positive reinforcement.
OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?
Baumgartner: People always say that high school flies by and when I was younger I didnt really believe them. Now that my career is winding down its really mind boggling how fast four years can go by. So I guess I’d just say to take it all in and to cherish it while it lasts.
OnFocus: Lastly, pancakes or waffles?
Baumgartner: Hotel waffles are pretty good but my Grandpa makes some dang good pancakes so I’ll go with those.
