OnFocus: What subjects/classes have been your favorite, and why?

Seidel:  Gym and Engineering class because both classes required lots of physical and activity which made them very enjoyable for me.

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?

Seidel: Golfing and any kind of yard game

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete?

Seidel: It teaches you how to manage your time and it sets your priorities in the right order 

OnFocus: Who is/was your first favorite teacher and why?


Seidel: Mr Gress because he made school fun for me while still teaching me new things.

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

Seidel: The aloe plant

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?

Seidel: 80’s music or rap

OnFocus:  What are your plans after high school?

Seidel:  Attend Concordia University of Wisconsin. I will major in business and play both basketball and golf while I am there.

OnFocus:  If they made a movie about you, and your life,  what would it be called?

Seidel: Blindness

OnFocus: What sports did you play throughout your high school career?

Seidel: Basketball and golf

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Seidel: Owen Sullivan

OnFocus:  What are some memorable moments you have had as an athlete?

Seidel: Winning the first gold ball in Newman boys basketball history, senior night, and scoring one thousand points

OnFocus:  Who are your favorite athletes and/or teams?

Seidel: Steven Adams and Mercedes Lewis. Packers for my favorite football team

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about competing in front of family, friends and fans?

Seidel: Playing with the same guys that I have been playing with for the past nine years who are also my best friends

OnFocus:  Do you have a funny or unusual moment(s) you have experienced in sports?

Seidel: None that I can think of

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete?

Seidel: It teaches you how to manage your time and it sets your priorities in the right order 

OnFocus:  What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Seidel: If you don’t have good grades you can’t play

OnFocus: Lastly, pancakes or waffles?

Seidel: Waffles
