Pancakes or Waffles? Cadott Student-Athlete Bradee Burish: Cadott Takes Pride in Athletes

We take a closer look at Cadott multi-sport student-athlete Bradee Burish, with our famous interview: Pancakes or Waffles?

OnFocus: What are your favorite subjects/classes and why?  

Burish:I love social studies/ Government because I understand it the most. 

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?  

Burish: I listen to music a lot, and read. 

OnFocus: Who is/was your first favorite teacher and why?  

My favorite teacher is Mr. Weisner the weight trainer because over the time he has taught me how to be a better version of myself. 

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?  

Burish:  I have tried squid from a can once. 

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?  

Burish:  I love 70’s-90’s country music

OnFocus:  What are your plans after high school?  

Burish: I plan to major in political science at UW Oshkosh

OnFocus:  If they made a movie about you, and your life, what would it be called?  

Burish: My boring and crazy life. 

OnFocus: What sports do you play?   

Burish: Volleyball and Basketball

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Burish:  I would not want to be stranded with Makenna.

  OnFocus:  What are some memorable moments you have had as an athlete?  

Burish: My junior year we beat Fall Creek by one which happen to also be on our coach’s birthday and everything about my senior volleyball season was so much fun. 

OnFocus:  Who are your favorite athletes and/or teams?  

Burish: Sarah Franklin, Maxx Crosby, Romeo Dobbs, Grayson Allen. 

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about competing in front of family, friends and fans?  

Burish: I love being able to prove myself and seeing reactions/ cheers. 

OnFocus:  Do you have a funny or unusual moment(s) you have experienced in sports?

Burish: My freshman and sophomore year of high school while running up and down the court I would fall over my large feet a lot. 

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Cadott?

Burish: Cadott High School takes pride in their athletes and even though us athletes believe sports are everything, they keep up on track to keep up good grades as well. 

 
OnFocus:  What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?  

Burish: You must be unselfish and accent the role that helps the team the most- Tom Crean

OnFocus: Lastly, pancakes or waffles?  Pancakes.
