We take a look Pacelli Cardinal alumnus Hannah Trzinski with our world-famous interview, ‘Pancakes or Waffles?’ to get a closer look at the standout and all-time Pacelli great.

OnFocus: What are your favorite subjects/classes and why?

Trzinski: My favorite classes have always been fitness and weight lifting classes. I am a very active person and enjoy training.

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?

Trzinski: I enjoy hiking, watching sports, reading, and cooking!

OnFocus: Who is/was your first favorite teacher and why?

Trzinski: My first favorite teacher is Mrs. Feltz. She was my fourth grade teacher and she was a young mother who really knew how to relate to my class and especially me.

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

Trzinski: Alligator jerky.

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?

Trzinski: Any kind of country.

OnFocus:  What are your plans after high school?

Trzinski: Attend University of Minnesota Crookston to major in Agricultural Business and play Division 2 softball.

OnFocus:  If they made a movie about you, and your life, what would it be called?

Trzinski: Our Field, My Circle.

OnFocus: What sports do you play?

Trzinski: Softball and Tennis.

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Trzinski: Probably Peyton Mancl because she and I are always fake fighting and laughing  with each other and we would just go in circles and never find a good solution.

OnFocus:  What are some memorable moments you have had as an athlete?

Trzinski: Winning the state championship last season. Making a huge candy salad with our team. Most of all though, spending every day with my best friends at practice or a game.

OnFocus:  Who are your favorite athletes and/or teams?

Trzinski:My favorite college softball team is Alabama, and my favorite softball players are Montana Fouts and Rachel Garcia. I do love the Brewers and the Packers as well of course.

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about competing in front of family, friends and fans?

Trzinski: I enjoy the extra boost of excitement that comes when my family and friends are there to cheer me on, it makes the game even more fun for me to play.

OnFocus:  Do you have a funny or unusual moment(s) you have experienced in sports?

Trzinski: My sophomore year in basketball season I was playing against my best friend from West Field in basketball. We were trying to get the rebound on a free throw and I tried to spin around her and I totally ate it and fell super hard. We laughed about that for the rest of the game.

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Pacelli?

Trzinski: The best thing about being a student athlete at Pacelli is the amazing opportunity our softball team has. We all have the same goal and mindset and that is something very rare to come upon.

OnFocus:  What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Trzinski: Never take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from.

OnFocus: Lastly, pancakes or waffles?

Trzinski: PANCAKES!!!!!
