Paniniś Kid Reporter Opportunity Comes True at Super Bowl LVIII
Panini has made a huge presence in the sportscard trading scene, and at Super Bowl 58, a special arrangement was created for a lucky youth: be a reporter for Panini at the biggest game.
Read about the opportunity for Jayce Choi, with his story of how special the experience was.
How did you get connected to this opportunity and earn this special experience?
During a card-ripping session, a discovery was made: a special kid reporter card was
nestled among the cards, complete with an access code offering the chance to be a kid
reporter for Super Bowl LVIII. After submitting around 35 cards, one stood out and was
selected. This particular card was likely from the Prestige 2023 NFL Megabox, which is
available at Walmart.
I emerged as a finalist and ultimately clinched the grand prize with a two-minute video
showcasing my interview techniques and articulate communication skills.
What are some of your collecting interests – sports, teams, etc.?
My passion lies in collecting football and baseball cards, spanning from vintage classics to
the latest players in the game. My fascination extends beyond mere collecting; I delight in
delving into each individual’s rich history and background, immersing myself in their stories
and contributions to the sports they love.

What do you enjoy most about card collecting?
I cherish the moments spent creating precious memories with my dad.

Share a bit about your free time pursuits, hobbies?
I am passionate about football and baseball. As a hobby, I enjoy free-hand drawing people.

What are some of the neat opportunities, events, etc. that made up Super Bowl week?

During the Super Bowl, I had the incredible opportunity to meet numerous athletes,
interview them, and gain insights into their lives. I also had the chance to rip cards
alongside athletes like Matt Leinart and Tyler Scott and engage in games with them. One
memorable experience was when Ricky Williams taught me how to play Madden, a popular
video game.

Share a bit about your duties as a sideline reporter for the Super Bowl.

In preparation for Opening Night, I dedicated time to crafting thoughtful questions for the
athletes. I made sure to thoroughly research each individual to ensure my questions were
insightful and relevant. It was important to me to appear well-prepared and professional
during the interviews.

What are some of your career ambitions?

I just wanted to let you know that nothing is confirmed yet.
