METHODOLOGY
-
The Instagram followers of the 2024 Olympics squads were collected before the start of the Olympics and they are being tracked throughout the tournament
-
Date of the last update: 01/08/2024
-
When it comes to the “followers gained” figure, if a player’s Instagram account was private / disabled at the time of the first collection, their gain is not counted and if a player’s account is not available / private / unknown, their numbers are marked as “0”
-
To count potential earnings per post on Instagram, an industry accepted standard of 10 dollars per post per 1000 followers was used (however, these figures might differ in the end, depending on individual negotiations)
