Peyton Mancl Shines on the Mound for Pacelli as Cardinals go 1-0-1 on Saturday

Pacelli faced a pair of top team in nonconference softball, getting a tie with Fall Creek 3-3 due to time limit restrictions, and downing McDonell 13-3.

In the Cardinals’ tie with Fall Creek, Peyton Mancl was stellar on the mound, scattering 3 hits and giving up 1 earned run while striking out 14 Crickets.

Laine Ilkka, Hannah Trzinski and Mancl each had two hits. Ilkka doubled twice and Trzinski tripled.

Kaylin Yenter and Kaydyn Nelson led the charge for Pacelli in their win over the Macs. Yenter was 4X4 with 3 runs and 3 RBI and a double. Nelson was 3X4 with 5 RBI, collecting a triple and home run.
