The group ooked at the 30 metro areas home to an NFL team and found the 10 best football cities are:

  1. Pittsburgh (Steelers)

  2. Green Bay (Packers)

  3. Dallas (Cowboys)

  4. Boston (New England Patriots)

  5. Denver (Broncos)

  6. Philadelphia (Eagles)

  7. Kansas City (Chiefs)

  8. New York City (Giants and Jets)

  9. San Francisco (49ers)

  10. Minneapolis (Vikings)

Pittsburgh is the best football city, with six Super Bowl wins — tied for the most all-time with the Patriots — and a storied 90-year history.

New Orleans is the top town for pregaming, with 314 bars within a 1-mile radius of the stadium. For comparison, FedEx Field near D.C. has just two bars nearby.

Washington, D.C., has the most affordable ticket prices. Buying four tickets per month would cost the average resident 4.4% of their monthly income. Las Vegas is the least affordable, where buying four tickets would cost a whopping 24.7% of the typical resident’s monthly income.
