Pittsville Defeats Everest in Dairyland League Baseball

Everest: 3 runs, 9 hits, 2 errors
Pittsville jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the top of the 1st. Everest then tied it 3-3 in the bottom of the 2nd. That would be the last Everest scored the remainder of the game as Evan Haley came in to pitch seven scoreless innings for Pittsville, striking out six and walking only one. In the 5th inning, Dawson Luther doubled to bring in Evan Haley. That was the only run Pittsville needed to win the game.
